Kabale und Liebe

Bio:

Liron van Daalen a.k.a. Kabale und Liebe was born 1983 in Breda, a small city in the south of Holland. Always fascinated by music he got in touch with house music at a very young age. At the age of twelve, without ever having seen a dj at work, Liron bought his first set of turntables and his new passion was born. Quickly he got the hang of it and at the age of 14 and once again when he was 15, Liron played for a huge crowd in the legendary Energiehallen in Rotterdam. Around this age, Liron also slowly started to experiment with producing his own music.

After he getting back from a trip throughout Australia and Southeast Asia in 2004, filled with inspiration from his travels, he started putting all his time in music production. For this he came up with his moniker Kabale und Liebe.

In 2006, his hard work resulted in his first release on the Canadian label Archipel. With his Cycling through Red Light EP, Kabale und Liebe already got a bit of international recognition and quickly more releases and remixes followed.
The same year, Kabale und Liebe also started creating his live set, which resulted in gigs throughout the Netherlands and Europe.

The live set of Kabale und Liebe can be described as deep, bolt, sexy and pumping and can, just as his dj sets, cover the whole spectrum from house to techno.

Until now, 2007 has been a very busy and successful year for Kabale und Liebe. In febraury, he began hosting his own club night in Berlin at Club VCF. He also started the project Amsterdam 661 together with Boris Werner, Lauhaus, David Labeij, Quazar MG and Julien Chaptal, in which they form a 6 man live act.

In October, the Amsterdam label Remote Area did a special release (Area Remote 001) with Kabale und Liebe and Daniel Sanchez with their track Mumbling Yeah, which became an big underground club hit of the summer.
The track got massive support from Richie Hawtin, Ricardo Villalobos, Magda, Loco Dice, Karotte, Mathias Kaden and many many more…

Later this year, there are two more releases scheduled on Remote Area with Kabale und Liebe together with Lauhaus.
This is just a tip of the iceberg, since Kabale und Liebe has a lot in store for the future.

Besides parties and festivals in Holland like Awakenings, Welcome to the future, Static, 5 Days Off and more, Kabale und Liebe has played in countries like England, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Greece and Israel and he has proved that his live sets as well as his dj sets are a guarantee for bringing madness and happiness to the dance floor.
