Bio: Milan’s sound is defined by massive bass lines. Minimal techno that let’s your stomach feel as if you are riding the pirate ship in Disneyland. Not the clickity clackity sounds you hear so often. Dark groovy tunes inspired by artists like Hawtin, Gaiser and Magda.

Buying Run DMC vs Jason Nevins – It’s Tricky as his first record; nobody could have ever expected Milan to turn Minimal. He started as a clubhouse dj with many gigs in the area he grew up in. Switched to eclectic being inspired by 2 many dj’s and got sucked in to the more elektro part with Tiga and Lektroluv after that. Until one day he went to the legendary 5 days off 2007 Thursday (Hawtin + friends @ Paradiso) this minimal/techno party spoiled him immediately.

It took some time for him to find his sound and understand this music. All fell into place 3 years later when he went to Time Warp Germany. Hearing Magda play her defined housy minimal tunes with epic bass lines he realized even though minimal is supposed to be dead, this was the route he had to take.

Now having a residency at InDeep ‘n Dance parties, he plays regularly at “House Generation” and “What Is On Your Mind” in club Korsakoff. A club that is winning popularity and is one of the few places in Amsterdam where you can hear good music combined with an underground atmosphere on Tuesday/Wednesday. He’s also a radio host for the weekly “Zondagskinderen” on AmsterdamFM and the monthly “News Factory”on Red Bull Music Academy Sound Gallery.

For 2011 his plans are to establish himself within the Amsterdam club circuit. He recently started working with Ableton Live and hopes to take big steps into producing this year and play on a festival during the summer.

Milan played various styles in different venues like: Club IT, More, Studio80, Westerliefde, Panama, Goah (AU) and Popcorn (CH).
